This analog representation of the date corresponds to the circular time display and provides just as much of an overview.

Its stainless steel case is 43 millimeters in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and the dial is covered by a domed sapphire glass. The Swiss automatic movement, with a rotor that supplies the watch with a 38-hour power reserve, can be viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back.

Powered by a Sellita automatic movement made in Switzerland, the movement of the N°03 draws its power from the activity of the wearer – fully automatically. Under the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back of the watch, the centrally mounted oscillating rotor can be observed as it transmits its energy to the mainspring barrel, which can accumulate up to 38 hours of power reserve.

Its stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 mm is water-resistant up to 5 bar and fitted with a domed sapphire glass.

In the Metris model, the typical hallmarks of MeisterSinger watches, the needle-shaped hand and the twin digits to mark the hours, are complemented by a round, magnified date window. However, developing this new version was not as easy as you might think. It is not enough to transfer all the characteristics of a successful model to a new, smaller design, as character cannot be simply scaled down. Each element needs to be re-balanced to suit the reduced space.

That’s why we are all the more pleased that the new, slim version has the same design qualities as the original – the functional typography with its complete set of double-digit hour numerals, the circumferential five-minute divisions and, above all, the single, needle-fine hour hand. Moreover, the N° 01 - 40 mm version is powered by the same Swiss-made, hand-wound movement as the larger model, the Sellita SW 210.
