Drawing inspiration from Grand Seiko’s rich history of hand crafted watchmaking, the latest Special Edition Hi-Beat 36000 takes on a timeless fresh look for the collection.  The timepiece highlights a traditional Japanese silk color concept called “Shironeri” with elegance.  Combined with gold hands and Arabic numerals, the contrast, especially from certain angles is mesmerizing.

Assembled at the Shizuku-Ishi Watch Studio in Japan, where all Grand Seiko mechanical watches are manufactured and assembled, the Hi-Beat 36000 movement Caliber 9S85 is designed, adjusted and tested by hand, by acclaimed craftsmen and women.  In both performance and appearance, it expresses the very best of Grand Seiko’s mechanical watchmaking. The caliber has a high accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds a day and a power reserve of 55 hours.
